Dada Pellerová comes from Bratislava, where she discovered climbing on an indoor wall while studying at university. Alongside teaching mathematics at a secondary school, she gradually explored all the different places where climbing could be found — on local crags, in the Tatra Mountains, occasionally in the Alps, or during holidays abroad.

For her, climbing is inseparable from strong friendships, evenings spent by the fire with a guitar, sunrises, and good coffee.

At the festival, she will talk about climbing in Yosemite, which had been her dream for several years and which she finally visited in October last year. Aware that she still needs a few more years of training before attempting clean ascents on El Capitan, she and her partners set out to experience the local style, big wall climbing, and to explore the limits of curiosity and motivation.
