In the documentary film Tsiky, a group of Slovak travels visit village Ambodirafia on the easternmost cape of Madagascar, where there are no roads. The film documents the way of life of the Malagasy people in this village. What has changed here in the last 250 years since Slovak native Móric Beňovský was here? Are technical advances, a fast-paced lifestyle and sufficient material security what makes a person happy? Can happiness be found even in a place where there is seemingly nothing and people live their lives from day to day?
